Ingredients:
1 pound 80/20 ground chuck
1 small onion, chopped
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 to 1 cup sauerkraut
1 cup sour cream
4 dark buns or rye bread
Instructions:
1. Brown ground chuck and onion in a large skillet
over medium until meat reaches 16°F on a meat
thermometer. Drain well. Add salt and pepper.
2. Stir in desired amount of sauerkraut and heat 8 to 10 minutes.
3. Just before serving, stir in sour cream.
4. Heat 10 minutes and serve on dark buns or rye bread.
